5 things we should keep from the pandemic... and 5 to throw down the toilet

When was the last time you went into a bar without a mask?
You don't even remember.
The pandemic is now officially one of those life-changing moments. A before and after. Like talking about the peseta, Chenoa announcing her breakup with Bisbal in a tracksuit, Caribe Mix 95… historic changes that you tell the younger generations about as if it were an epic legend.
But have we gotten better or worse?
We're going back to the bars, to make out with... desconocid@s sin fear, of resuming contact… to move freely around the world.
It seems that the fear of the coronavirus is receding or at least we have 'gotten used to it', like the fifth time that Fani puts the bricks on Christofer on Temptation Island and... well, what can I say, it's not as surprising or shocking as the first time.
It was bound to happen... you tell yourself, using logic.
GOOD THINGS, GREAT THINGS FROM THE PANDEMIC
1. YOUR HOUSE, YOUR TEMPLE
2. Of ATHLEISURE… to pyjaming.
And I always say that the chavs in my neighborhood were visionaries ahead of their time; misunderstood when it comes to fashion.
3. REMOTE WORK
A more flexible, healthier workplace... and where it becomes clear that companies have to get their act together or people will leave without looking back.
4. THE SOUL IN THE AIR
Going back to drinking in the streets, to the terraces until you reach hypothermia... and avoiding closed and expensive places by default.
5. There's no need to touch and get so close... all the time.
SEE YOU LATER, MARICARMEN
1. The balcony police
2. Silly restrictions
Mandatory hand sanitizer, not being able to get up from your seat at a concert, wearing a mask while exercising, no food on airplanes, no napkin holders in bars… I'm sorry, but enough is enough. It doesn't work.
3. The failure to 'harmonize'
When you're working from home all day, it all gets overwhelming, and you lose track of where your personal life begins and your work ends. Let's put up boundaries again (at least mentally) to protect our personal and professional spaces.
4. Crowd phobia
It's not about being a fan of Primark or restaurants where you can see the neighbor's nose hairs... it's about enjoying a packed stadium, a packed festival, a cinema full of people again...
5. Having to plan everything
Because without a ticket or reservation… you can hardly do anything. And it's tempting to go back to spontaneity, to the 'we've gotten carried away', to the 'what if we try this place?' without having to fill out forms and applications.
And you, How has your life changed? What have you discovered and what will you never miss?
